It’s what’s needed for starting on High Pressure Bulbs.

HPS bulbs need specific transformers to run them. eg: a 400W bulb needs a 400W Transformer, a 600W bulb needs a 600W transformer. Bulbs and Ballasts (Transformers) are not interchangable!
